Garbege 2008 Presidential Debate Giveaway: WINNERS

What’s good yall!?  Well, the debates have been over for some time now, and people have had a chance to (hopefully) reflect on what was discussed and better prepare themselves to make a intelligent and informed decision on election day.  Regardless of who you support in this election, what is most important is that you truly seek out as much information and knowledge on the subjects that are most important to you before you make your decision.  The danger in voting emerges when people make uninformed decisions based on irrational reasoning or lack of knowledge.  That said, the hope of our Garbege Presidential Debate contest was to inspire our communitiy, specifically young adults, to go out there and get informed.  To pay attention to the debates and really listen to what the candidates had to say before making their decisions.  Recognizing the importance of this, we have decided to reward EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED in the contest with the limited edition Garbege “B.O Knows” T-shirt (pictured above)!!!  The winners have been contacted via email or Myspace and will receive their t-shirts shortly!

Garbege 2008 Presidential Debate Giveaway: FINAL QUESTIONS

Last night’s debate, the third and final debate between Presidential nominees McCain and Obama, was most certainly the most personal and emotional of all three debates.  Both candidates didn’t hold back and really worked hard to get their points of view across.  While most of the debate dealt with the major issues we are familiar with, a particularly interesting segment was when the two discussed the negativity of their respective campaigns.  

Anyways, without going too much into the debate, its time to release the final round of questions in our Presidential Debate Giveaway!  As always, answers to the questions should be left in the COMMENTS section of this post.  The winner of the contest, who will receive the Limited Edition Garbege “B.O Knows” T-shirt, will be announced this weekend so make sure to get your answers in asap!  Good luck!

Tonight, October 15th, marks the end of a long and informative series of debates.  We have learned a lot about each of the candidates and, hopefully, tonight we’ll learn even more.  Hopefully you are all aware by now of the contest we have been running in coordination with the Presidential Debates.  In continuation of this contest, we would just like to remind everyone to tune into the debate tonight and be on the lookout for the final round of questions to be posted tomorrow.  We will be announcing the winner this weekend so be sure to get your answers in fast!
