Today is going to be a very special wall to wall GRBG coverage for FYI.

The good folks at GRBG will be releasing thier Holiday “GREATEST HITS” Collection this week just in time for BLACK FRIDAY. This Holiday collection is an All-star Line up of product which consists of Classic Heat rocks from thier Man V. Machine, Rock V.Rap, Roaring 20’s Lines. The GRBG Creative Team also added some new treats that will be classic pieces in the near future.

garbege™ Incorporates Celebrities and Tastemakers In Their Holiday ‘07 “GREATEST HITS Collection “ and their STREET, SMART, ART Ad Campaign.

In conjunction with the release of their 2007 holiday collection “Greatest Hits”, luxury streetwear designers garbege™ will be executing an advertising campaign featuring celebrities and influencers from across multiple art forms. The ad campaign “Street, Smart, Art” will begin hitting the media late December 2007, just as the holiday collection begins to hit store shelves.

The campaign features rising leaders from a variety of artistic channels. Each ad will highlight a trendsetting celeb in their natural work environments while wearing a piece from the garbegeâ„¢ collection. These luminaries include Travis McCoy, frontman for 2007 MTV VMA’s Best New Artist Gym Class Heroes, celebrity photographer and video director Jonathan Mannion, producer and hip hop boy wonder Calvo Da Gr8, XXL editor-at-large Bonsu Thompson, Harlem’s up & comers Kwasi, Steve-O (Founders of Laced Magazine) and Nakim form the super cool & fashion savvy crew GFC and more.

Currently viewed as an ad campaign, these creative units will be part of an extensive collection of celebrity photos, their art, and interviews all compiled in a book titled “Street, Smart, Art” due to be published in the near future.
