Rage Against the Machine Reunites at Coachella 2007
Filed Under Flavor In Your Ear | Leave a Comment
On Sunday, April 30, 2007 music history
was made out in the desert. After a nearly seven year hiatus, seminal 90’s rap/rock group Rage Against the Machine reunited to close out the 2007 Coachella Festival.
Playing to a crowd of over 60,000 of which some were there since Friday to check out other acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bjork, & Amy Winehouse, Rage was greeted
by thunderous roar from the crowd to which de la Roacha responded with a simple “We’re Rage Against the Machine from Los Angeles, California.” Led by guitarist/activist Tom
Morello, the band then launched into a tirade of hits from all three albums including “Testify,” “Bulls on Parade,” and “Freedom,” eventually closing out the show with the
anti-authority anthem “Killing in the Name.”
Despite the little crowd interaction and a brief message about how the current administration should be “tried, hung and shot,”
Rage played as if they were at the height of their career.
For those who missed out on Coachella, you can catch Rage Against The Machine as they headline the Rock the
Bells tour later this Summer with Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def and others.

TOKYO CURRY LAB by Masamichi Katayama - Conceptionalized
by Kundo Koyama, the creator of the “Iron Chef” TV show, the restaurant is based on a concept of creating an innovative lab for experimenting and inventing curry recipes.
Located in the monumental Tokyo Tower, a “lab” area with colorful spice tubes on display is accompanied by a dining counter behind it. The serious yet humorous interior is

The much talked about Tesla Motors’ electric Roadster won’t meet its vaunted range target of 250 miles. The company
sent a letter to nearly 400 of its first batch of customers admitting that after testing on an EPA-compliant dyno, that it has had to revise its mileage estimates downward for
its Lotus Elise-based sports car, though they still expect over 200 miles to a charge. The Roadster which starts at $92,000 is currently sold out until June 2008. Running off of
lithium-ion batteries (like the ones in your laptop) the Tesla Roadster is a 100% electrially powered vehicle designed by some of the top architects from Lotus.
